How do I flag long-term absence?

To flag long-term absence:

  1. Click on the Staff records link and click on the name or ID number of the person you want to flag as long-term absent

  2. If you see a button labelled Confirm record details then you’ll need to click it, otherwise go to step 4

  3. Click the name or ID number of the required staff record again 

  4. Click the Flag long-term absence link

  5. Select a reason for their long-term absence and then click the Save and return button 

The staff record will now have a long-term absent flag displayed on it. You can change or remove the flag by clicking on the View link that appears next to the flag.
