What's a comparison group?
A comparison group is who you’re being compared to in the
Benchmarks area. In ASC-WDS you are compared to care providers providing the
same main service as you (e.g. care home with nursing) in the same local
authority as you (e.g. Kent).
The comparison group data is refreshed every
month and is only included after it passes extensive quality checks. The size
of the comparison group can vary between metrics depending on the level of data
we hold.
