Where's the confirmation form for the local authority return?

The confirmation form will be available on 8 September 2025

Download the confirmation form and fully complete it once you’re satisfied that your data has met the required criteria.

The form should be sent to ascwds-online@skillsforcare.org.uk

Once your form has been received, data quality checks are carried out and you’ll get an email to either confirm your data has been accepted or to highlight issues with your data that need correcting.

You’re not deemed to have completed the full return until you receive the email to say that your data has been accepted.

Filling out the form

  1. Select your local authority from the drop-down menu
  2. Add the total number of jobs (this should match the number on your LA progress report)
  3. Include starters and leavers for permanent and temporary staff only (this should match your LA progress report unless you have any starters or leavers that have not been captured due to closing workplaces)

The form will then calculate the difference in the validation check box.  If you have a difference you will see an additional box to add how many agency, bank, pool or other staff you have with last year’s figures just below.

If there’s still a difference in the validation check box, you’ll need to tell us why in the comments section.
