What are benchmarks and how can they help my business?

What are benchmarks and how can they help my business?

Benchmarks allow you to compare your workforce metrics against similar organisations in your local authority. You can view benchmarks on pay for different job roles, vacancy and turnover rates and the percentage of staff still in their main job role after 12 months.

Care providers use the Benchmarks area to get a sense check on where they stand locally on pay and staff retention. They also use them as evidence with CQC and in marketing themselves as performing well on these key metrics.
